Space-age Inflatable silver igloo takes over the cage for the holidays. An array of chromed out pedestals topped with luxe reindeer skins add the winter touch to highlight new arrivals of accessories in time for holiday shopping.
Inspired by the PF12 RTW collection, the latest cage installation exhibits exaggerated take on the dominant tailoring details of transparent mesh and collars with subtle slits to weave long hair through. The seductive effect is captured in the installation by an army of sleepwalking forms veiled in long black hair creating an eerie looming feeling.
A procession of black flags symbolize the closing of the season.
Graphic light installation of cool and warm white neon inspired by the bright chevron patterns found in the Spring 2012 RTW collection.
Inspired by Resort 2012 Ready-to-Wear which introduces a new range of swimwear, the latest cage installation at 103 Grand Street includes an unruly mass of black latex pool toys. A melange of sea creatures become entangled in the cage. Come night, the installation transcends to a haunting deep sea domain.
Taking note from the bright flashes of color in the new Resort 2012 collection, Alexander Wang presents an intervention to the existing cage structure at 103 Grand Street in which a sculptural form binds and wraps the black metal in a vibrant red rubber skin.
The latest installation at 103 Grand Street is inspired by the 1963 Alfred Hitchcock film "The Birds”, which is projected at the store throughout the Halloween season in a black and white, silent version.
The fourth installation features minimalistic black rubber spherical shapes, which form a floating monolithic structure against the rigidity of the cage.

The mass of lines activates a visceral experience when moving through the passage way of the cage structure. Each 2-dimensional strand responds to the air currents created by the movement of viewers, with the motion resembling grass blown by a subtle breeze.
Installation 2 - 103 Grand Street’s latest Installation resembles a scribble in space using geometric black matte posts embedded with LED lighting that twist in a sequential line through the cage structure.
